After lunch you’ll will be taken across the Modernist Eixample area, the district of Gracia, uphill until the famous Park Güell, yet another fantastic example of Gaudi’s genius. After the visit of the park, we will drive you back to the city centre, to admire one of the most famous Barcelona landmarks: Sagrada Familia.

Continue through the Olympic facilities area, until the Palau Nacional (Barcelona Pavilion), an architectural gem from one of the leading modernist architects and nowadays hosting the Catalan National Museum of Art and near the famous pavilion of Mies Van der Rohe. Stop here for the views over Plaza de España and its “magic fountains”, before driving to Gaudi’s masterpiece, Sagrada Familia. Thousands of words would not be enough to describe the amazing and still ongoing project that crowned Gaudi’s career: it’s our experienced guide’s task to introduce you to the complex symbolism and astonishing geniality of this innovative architecture that leaves everybody captivated. Receive a detailed explanation of this masterpiece, its history, the different facades and the intricacies of the design and construction and go inside to explore all of the magnificent details (Skip-the-line entrances included.). We will leave you time for your own so that you can enjoy at your own pace.

Finally, the last stop to complete this “Gaudi Tour” your guide will take you to visit one of the Modernist houses that Gaudi built in Passeig de Gracia. Let the guide explain the history behind this special block and the once again marvelous aesthetic splendor of Gaudi’s colorful Casa Batlló or Casa Milà (depends on which one you choose).



Barcelona architecture tour

Half Day option: In a half day option you will walk around the medieval streets of the old town, unveil the secrets of the Gothic Quarter and discover the local aromas and flavors of the city markets and the traditional foods. Of course, a visit to Sagrada Familia is a must in any visit of the city, no matter if you have little time, do not leave without visiting this unique temple, the work of a visionary, the genius Antoni Gaudí.

Full Day option: In full-day option, besides what you can visit in the half day, you will also have the chance to have a typical lunch, maybe taste some tapas with local wines, for example. And a visit to Park Güell and Casa Milà, or Casa Batlló.
